Our Goal
Our primary goal is to enable participants to maintain a high level of functionality by focusing on the maintenance of both their physical and mental health. By doing so, it will allow them to remain in their homes and communities instead of being institutionalized.
Participants
Guardian Angel’s offers services to persons 18 years of age and older who:
- Have one or more disabilities which prevent them from being independent
- Are diagnosed with conditions which require monitoring
- Require some assistance in meeting various health care needs
- Seek to improve or maintain their level of functioning
THIS WOULD INCLUDE:
- Persons with physical disabilities, such as those caused by stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, multiple sclerosis, hip fractures, arthritis or any other physically limiting condition.
- Persons with cognitive or intellectual difficulties from an illness or injury as in Alzheimer’s Disease, other types of dementia, or developmental disabilities.
- Persons with emotional or mental health issues such as anxiety or depression.
- Persons who are socially isolated who would benefit from socialization and companionship.
